Abstract: Bladder cancer is the most prevalent tumor of the urinary tract, ranking seventh in males and seventeenth in women. The gold standard for the definitive diagnosis and initial treatment of non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer is transurethral resection (TUR) of the bladder tumor.
