So many cases of crime have occurred in the parking area. Because this causes many losses, ways are needed to avoid it happening again. One of the efforts that can be done in preventing the occurrence of crime in the parking area is by applying security aspects with the concept of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) and applying safety aspects that examine security aspects in preventing crime in the environment of human activities in a design approach. Environmental and safety aspects. In this study, the method used is descriptive qualitative to obtain factual and systematic data. The data is processed using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method with the help of software, namely Super Decision, to get the value of each CPTED component for motorcycle parking facilities. The value of the study of applying the CPTED concept theory for security and safety aspects in the Podomoro Mall motorcycle parking area shows that the elements of the CPTED concept and safety aspects in the motorcycle parking area have not been fully implemented. However, overall security and safety in this parking area are guaranteed because almost all the variables available at this location already meet existing standards. The riders feel safe and secure when they are in this parking area even though some aspects are not met. It could be improved would be much better. The results of this study are expected to be helpful in the field of architecture, especially in crime.

As the third vital industry supporting Australia’s economic development, the education domain and related services are deserved to be emphasized. The domestic university as the major used space of the educational industry is acquiring increasingly government investments. One of the investment aspects is the improvement of safety infrastructure. By providing students and staff a convenient and safe campus experience is an effective approach to produce greater benefits. However, in most Australia universities, the safety issue is still a problem that needs to be enhanced. In this research paper, the Garden City Campus of the Queensland University of Technology is used as the case study. It will be analyzed using the methodologies of observation and survey.

Dünyada ve Türkiye'de şehirlerde suç kaynaklı güvenlik sorunu çözülmesi gereken öncelikli sorunlar arasında yer almaktadır. Kent güvenliğinin sağlanmasında suç ile ilgili kurulan teorik modeller kamu yöneticileri için önemli politika araçları olarak kullanılabilir. Kent güvenliği politikalarının oluşturulmasında farklı suç teorileri üretildikleri disiplinlere göre çeşitlenen değişik suç önleme yaklaşımları sunmaktadır. Suçun mekânsal dağılımındaki faktörleri inceleyen yaklaşımlar arasında yer alan "Kırık Pencereler Teorisi" literatürde de karşımıza çıkan ve geliştirilmesinde New York'ta başarılı bir uygulamanın sebep olduğu bir teoridir. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada Kırık Pencereler Teorisi'nin İstanbul'da kent güvenliğinin sağlanması için uygun bir teori olup olmadığı test edilmiştir. Kırık Pencereler Teorisi gerek sosyal gerekse de fiziksel yapıya ilişkin faktörleri suç önleme amaçlı olarak kullanması nedeniyle de önemlidir. Kırık Pencereler Teorisi'ne ilişkin kavramlar "Kırık Pencereler Döngüsü" adı altında şematize edilerek modellenmiştir. Bu modelin test edilmesi için path analizi kullanılmıştır. Path analizi modelde belirlenen ilişkilerin test edilmesine olanak sağlamaktadır. Path analizi modelde belirtilen ilişkiler çalışma alanında toplanan veriye mükemmel uyum sağlamadığı durumlarda bu ilişkilerin yerine alternatif teorik olarak kabul edilebilir yeni ilişkiler tanımlanmasına olanak sağlamaktadır. Böylelikle var olan teorik model modifikasyonlarla çalışma alanına uygun hale getirilebilmektedir. Kırık Pencereler Modeli'nin testi için İstanbul'da kentsel alanda yaşayan 1837 bireyle yüz yüze anket görüşmeleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu örneklem büyüklüğüne ait hata payı ±%2.29'dur. Path analizi sonucunda Kırık Pencereler Döngüsü'nün tanımladığı faktörler arasındaki ilişkiler modifiye edilerek İstanbul için geçerli bir model olarak kullanılabileceği tespit edilmiştir.
