Comparative analysis methodologies formulation powers in the frequency domain

Abstract

Abstract.With the increasing use of non-linear loads in electrical power systems, it is necessary to study the harmonic distortion, which if not considered in the power calculations may result in measurement errors. Therefore, this study aims to present a comparative analysis between two power theories in the frequency domain, Budeanu theory and IEEE 1459 standard, before a case study, in the presence or absence of distortions of a system electrical test.
