Abstract: RESUMOObjetivo: Comparar dois pontos de corte do Índice de Massa Corporal (IMC) para idosos para avaliação do estado nutricional. Métodos: estudo do tipo quantitativo, descritivo e transversal realizado com a população acima de 60 anos da cidade de Palmeira das Missões, RS.
