Compact long‐term evolution antenna for automotive mobile communications

Abstract: This letter presents a compact long‐term evolution antenna, which is capable of covering 698 to 960 MHz and 1710 to 2690 MHz bands simultaneously for automotive mobile communications. Taking performance and aesthetic appeal into account, the antenna is placed in a shark fin plastic shell, which is mounted on the roof of the vehicle.
