Compact Broadband Microstrip Antenna Using Two Semicircular Gap-Coupled Resonators

Abstract: In this paper a novel configuration for increasing the impedance bandwidth of microstrip antennas (MSAs) is proposed. Impedance bandwidth is enhanced without increasing in antenna size. This antenna is consisting of a semicircular driven patch and another shorted semicircular parasitic patch.
