Community Ventures and Access to Markets: The Role of Intermediaries in Marketing Rural Tourism Products

Abstract: Many community‐based tourism ventures face marketing problems similar to those of other rural producers. They depend on intermediaries, such as private companies, membership organisations, public sector institutions and non‐governmental organisations, to facilitate market access.
