Community pharmacists on the frontline in the chronic disease management: The need for primary healthcare policy reforms in low and middle income countries

“…Recommendations made by a review of 36 studies from Arab-speaking Middle Eastern countries (11 studies in Saudi Arabia) included providing diagnostic, screening and monitoring services; maintaining patient records in the pharmacy, providing advice on minor illness, and providing a private area for consultation ( El Hajj et al, 2021 ).
