Aims: The qualification of managers in terms of management skills is one of the most important factors in the continuous success of each organization and utilizing such skills can have a positive contribution in the effectiveness of the organization while improving the performance of the employees in line with the objectives and goals of the organization. The main objective of the current study was to explore the necessary skills and the challenges of hospital managers from the point of view of managers at different levels of a hospital. Methods: This study is a qualitative one where the statistical population includes the mid-level and senior-level managers of the hospital. The sample size was 22 individuals. The interviews were analyzed by a MAXQDA software application after transcription. Results This study includes 5 main themes and 15 secondary themes. The strategic skill, the perceptive skill, the human relation skill, work experience, and personal characteristics were among the skills necessary for hospital managers. Some of the challenges facing the hospital managers included rapid changes in the policies, the limitations of financial resources, and lack of proportion between the educational and occupational spheres. Conclusion: Because of their existential philosophy and differences with other service sectors, managing hospitals poses a particular sensitivity. In this regard, the role of the hospital manager is very important. Therefore, in order to meet the satisfaction of those receiving services, decision makers, and policy makers must think twice when selecting and appointing hospital managers and evaluate and appraise this group in terms of abilities and skills necessary for managing such an important service section.

Recent studies suggest that a series of contextually appropriate and effective communication training package is demanded by the employers and HR practitioners in the job market. However, the ways to design an effective, comprehensive and sustainable communication development program for the business executives have rarely been explored in the extant literature. This paper introduces the concept of a total communication package (TCP) that can help design a better communication development program for the business executives. This qualitative research uses the interview findings from 20 top executives from the banking and telecommunication sectors in Bangladesh to unpack the concept of TCP for the HR practitioners.

The purpose of this research is to reveal the factors that influence vocational school teachers’ readiness to implement curriculum 2013 revised edition in Cilacap regency. The factors are 1) principals’ leadership toward the teachers’ readiness, 2) the impact of teachers’ professionalism toward teachers’ readiness, 3) the impact of the teachers’ training. This research is an ex-post facto research. The method of collecting data used in this research is the mix method. The data was collected by using questioner and interview and then, analyzed by applying statistics descriptive counts mean of the percentage. To confirm the hypotheses, this study used multiple linear regression. The result of the research showed that: (1) principals’ leadership affect teachers’ readiness in the amount of 8.4%, (2) teachers’ professionalism impact the teachers’ readiness in amount of 17.7%, (3) teachers’ training impact teachers’ readiness in amount of 24.1%, and (4) principals’ leadership, professionalism, and teachers’ training simultaneously, affect teachers’ readiness and it is proved by Fcalculate in the amount of 5,403 and significant value (p = 0,001 < 0,05). It meant that the whole result of the three free-variables affects the teachers’ readiness significantly in implementing curriculum 2013 revised edition at vocational school in Cilacap.
