Comments on the paracrystalline nature of myelin

Abstract: Varying degrees of distortion of the Q functions of myelin samples in different states – native, fixed, swollen, dehydrated etc. – suggest that disorder in the membrane system may appropriately be classified into intrinsic and nonintrinsic components.
