“…The Mardo and Southern Bushrat Rattus fusdpes have been the subject of intensive study. Mardos are opportunistic feeders (Hindmarsh and Majer 1977;Majer 1978) and are most abundant in areas with a deep litter layer (Christensen and Kimber 1975;Sawle 1979).
