SUMMARYWe provide a brief chronological background on the deforming-spatial-domain/stabilized space-time (DSD/SST) formulation, its use in aerodynamic modeling of a paratrooper separating from an aircraft, and the fluid-object interactions subcomputation technique (FOIST).
