Commentary: French Military Neurosurgery: At Home and Abroad

Abstract: Several French neurosurgeons, known primarily and aptly for their surgical contributions, also played heroic roles in World Wars I and II. The following vignettes present the stories of 4 French neurosurgeons who rose to supererogatory standards.
