Abstract: La violence, qu’il soit question des « débordements » en manifestation ou des attentats, suscite l’étonnement, l’incompréhension et bien souvent l’indignation. Afin de saisir de façon immanente et compréhensive le sens de l’engagement d’acteurs qui ont parfois eu recours à des moyens violents, nous avons mené une enquête de sociologie qualitative auprès de l’extrême gauche antiparlementaire française.
