“…We feel that Reijmer (2022) simplifies the ecological accommodation concept developed by Pomar in a way that generates a misunderstanding that we sincerely believe is unfounded. Reijmer states: “Hence, ecological accommodation merely is another term for the different growth strategies of carbonate factories in response to varying environmental conditions as reflected in the differences in sediment production, cementation processes, grain‐size variations, slope shapes and ultimately platform morphologies”.…”
