“…Hybrid strength is one of the important genetic phenomena that occurs when crosses between genotypes together in order to collect the desired genes in the first generation F1 hybrid, which in one or more traits are superior to the best parents or the average parents. The results showed [9] when evaluating five pure tomato lines and ten individual hybrids, the hybrid P1×P5 was characterized by the highest positive and significant hybrid vigor for plant height (103.86 cm) measured by the best parent, while the hybrid P1×P3 gave the highest hybrid vigor for the number of main branches, TSS ratio and weight average.…”
