Abstract:In order to ascertain the combined effect of diameter ratio (d/D) and spacing ratio (L/D) on the flow around two tandem circular cylinders, a total of 43 research cases are numerically simulated using a large eddy simulation model in this study, including d/D = 0.2 (L/D = 0.80–6.00), d/D = 0.4 (L/D = 0.80–6.00), and d/D = 0.6 (L/D = 0.90–6.00) at Re = 3900.
