Combination of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio and albumin concentration to predict the prognosis of esophageal squamous cell cancer patients undergoing esophagectomy

Abstract: Background: Esophageal squamous cell cancer (ESCC) is an aggressive cancer with high incidence and mortality. It is crucial to predict prognosis of these patients individually. Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) has been reported as a prognostic indicator in several tumors, including esophageal cancer.
