“…It is worth noting that the light at 785 nm is chosen as the laser excitation source because it can resonate with the energy of the delocalized bipolarons and the individual polarons in PPy . The two peaks located at 1382 and 1325 cm –1 are attributed to the inter-ring stretching C–C vibrational modes of PPy and are considered to represent the antisymmetric inter-ring stretching C–N vibrations of the oxidized and neutral states of PPy, respectively, and two other peaks located at 1080 and 1055 cm –1 are also thought to evaluate the oxidation state of PPy, which correspond to the C–H in-plane bending vibration of the oxidized and reduced PPy states separately. ,, It is obvious from the figure that the relative intensity of the peaks at 1382 and 1080 cm –1 in the Raman spectrum gradually increases and decreases at 1325 and 1055 cm –1 as the flatness of PPy gradually improves, which means that the degree of oxidation and the proportion of bipolarons of PPy gradually rise and thus lead to an improvement in conductivity while having an effect on the absorbance of PPy, and the related discussions will be carried out subsequently …”
