Colores al Norte del Lago Traful, Neuquén, Argentina

Abstract

El objetivo del presente estudio es caracterizar geoquímicamente la pintura de las superficies cerámicas, del arte rupestre y de la materia prima colorante en contextos arqueológicos de sitios ubicados al norte del lago Traful, provincia de Neuquén, Argentina. Paralelamente, interesa explorar la utilidad de la técnica de WDXRF para este propósito, en casos en que la escasez de la muestra requiere de una técnica de análisis no destructiva. Los resultados permitieron una primera aproximación a la caracterización elemental de las pinturas, aportaron información para discutir las técnicas utilizadas para su aplicación y los materiales disponibles o seleccionados.Palabras clave: pigmentos, WDFRX, cazadores-recolectores, Patagonia argentina, cerámica, arte rupestre

Micro‐Raman analysis of pigments from hunter–gatherer archaeological sites of North Patagonia (Argentina)
