Colored rubber vulcanizates with some magnetic properties

Abstract: ABSTRACT:A new composite based on natural rubber vulcanizates loaded with the newly prepared iron oxidealuminum oxide (Fe 2 O 3 ⅐Al 2 O 3 ) fillers were prepared and their physical and magnetic studies were investigated. The prepared fillers were evaluated as reinforcing fillers with some magnetic properties; these properties were dependent on the ratio of iron oxide to aluminum oxide in each prepared ratio of these fillers. Rheological properties of rubber mixes containing (1Fe 2 O 3 :3Al 2 O 3 ) and (1Fe 2 O… Show more

“…The reported strength values are less than that reported in literature. 15 This is because the kneaded composites reach higher levels of fiber distribution and adhesion with the host matrix; especially, under the used high injection pressure, whereas the extruded/pressed samples have more weakness points like fiber agglomerations, lack of adhesion and incomplete mold filling during hot pressing.…”

“…In configurations (C) and (D), the trend of aspect ratios is almost stable and independent from the fiber content. However, the aspect ratios lie in the range of [10][11][12][13][14][15] values which is almost 25% less than that of extruder (A) and (B). Screw (D) shows again the dependence of fiber aspect ratio on the fiber content where higher fiber content leads to a reduction in fiber aspect ratio.…”

“…15,16 It is expected that the change in natural fiber content in injection moulded products will definitely affect the expected mechanical properties. 17 Therefore, this work aims to understand this phenomenon along a one-dimensional injection moulded product (spiral). It is not logical to assume similarity in behavior between the glass fiber composites and natural fiber composites in injection moulding.…”
