El cáncer de colon es una de las neoplasias más frecuentes del mundo1 El carcinoma colorrectal con células en anillo de sello en específico es un subtipo infrecuente del adenocarcinoma mucinoso, constituyendo menos del 1% del total de tumores colorrectales3. Para el diagnóstico, debe existir un origen primario en colon o recto y al menos un 50% con patrón de células en anillo de sello. Habitualmente la presentación clínica es tardía, asociando una alta agresividad4 Se presenta un caso de un paciente adolescente con diagnostico por biospias de colon de adenocarcinoma de celulas en anillo de sello en etapa abanzada que requirio reseccion completa de colon trasverso y 15 cm de ilion, manejo agresivo por ser de mal pronostico ademas de quimioterapia y controles de endoscopias y colonoscopias con biospias de seguimiento.
