“…In addition, we consider a model in which color superconductivity in the 2SC+s phase is included within the LNJL model [46]. This model has three free parameters: the vector coupling constant, η v , the diquark coupling constant, η qq and the effective strange quark mass in vacuum, M 0 s .…”

“…To describe quark matter we use the nonlocal SU(3) Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (n3NJL) model discussed in [6,[17][18][19][20][21]. The n3NJL parametrization used is given as "Set I" in [22], and is in better agreement with the empirical quark masses than the parametrization utilized in [6]. We consider three geometries for the range of possible structures in the mixed phase including spherical blobs, rods, and slabs, and calculate the associated static lattice contributions to the neutrino emissivity.…”

“…The analysis of neutron stars with the presence of deconfined quark mater in their cores, shows that for the NJL models considered in this work a quark matter core is only possible for the last stable star in the M-R diagram. The presence of diquarks can give longer stable hybrid branches [79].…”
