“…[ 5 ] In the last decades, tremendous efforts have been made to mitigate the above issues through a combination of sulfur and various conductive hosts by chemical and/or physical interaction. [ 6–10 ] Although the cycle stability and rate ability of those sulfur cathodes are obviously improved, the inactive hosts contribute to the dead weight, which leads to low sulfur content in the entire electrodes, inhibiting the practical application of LSBs. Modification of separators (including interlayers) in LSBs has been verified to be a simple and effective strategy to suppress the polysulfides’ shuttle effect.…”
