“…Sudan III is a water-insoluble dye and the presence of an azo group (−NN−) in them allows the extension of π-electron conjugation and is responsible for the intense absorption of electromagnetic radiation in the visible region . The λ max of Sudan III dye generally lies in the range of 500–515 nm depending on the organic solvent used. The λ max value of Sudan III dye solubilized in aqueous AMT solution (100 mmol kg –1 ) is found to be 512 nm, which is relatively comparable to the observed λ max value in the literature. , Solubilization of Sudan III dye in the drug micelles was studied to rationalize the aggregation of AMT. Figure depicts the visible spectra obtained for solubilization of Sudan III dye in the AMT micellar solutions prepared in the studied mixed media.…”
