Colonic Perforation Secondary to Thrombo‐embolus From an Umbilical Artery Catheter

Abstract: Summary A case of colonic perforation in a newborn infant is described. Perforation was probably secondary to an arterial thrombo‐embolus originating from a catheter placed in the aorta via an umbilical artery.
