“…The band at 568‐575 cm −1 is ascribed to Al‐O stretching vibration modes resulting from Alumina octahedra AlO 6 groups of mullite . The peak due to stretching vibration of octahedrally coordinated Al at these frequencies become sharper with increase in temperature indicating the development of Al 2 O 3 in the structure.…”

“…Furthermore, a shoulder was observed around 1177 cm −1 in case of 1250°C sintered samples. This is assigned to vibrational mode of asymmetric stretch of Si‐O‐Si . During heat treatment, removal of the hydroxyl groups in the silica matrix is expected.…”

“…The band at 2510 cm -1 is attributed to the atmospheric carbon dioxide adsorbed by the molecule. A sharp band at 1683 cm -1 is attributed to the OH stretching vibrations, while a broad band at 3419 cm -1 is attributed to the deformation vibration of adsorbed water molecule on the surface of dried leachate (Gören et al, 2012). This could be due to the improper drying of the sample.…”

“…It is a technology of fabricating samples that consists of pouring a ceramic mass, i.e., a suspension of ceramic particles in water, characterized by a high solid phase content and low viscosity. In this method, a mass of appropriately selected composition is poured into porous gypsum molds, in which moisture is removed from the slurry by capillary forces, resulting in a finished product [ 19 ]. The slip casting method makes it possible to obtain a product with complex shapes without using high pressures and temperatures.…”
