Collocations in Dutch

Abstract

This paper discusses the study of collocations, and to some extent idioms, in Dutch. Its main contribution is a discussion of the treatment of collocations in dictionaries, and it offers short case studies on light verb/support verb constructions, modal particles and quantity modifi ers.
