Collagenase Clostridium Histolyticum-aaes Injections for Volumetric Change of Cellulite Dimples and Gluteal Contouring

Abstract: BACKGROUND Collagenase clostridium histolyticum-aaes (CCH) is approved for the treatment of moderate-to-severe cellulite. OBJECTIVE This is a retrospective image review of subjects previously enrolled in Cohort 2 of the EN3835-305 trial to determine the effects of CCH on volumetric changes of cellulite dimples and overall gluteal contouring. “…Currently, combination treatments for cellulite can give the best results, including acoustic or mechanical subcision of the fibrous septae of cellulite, biostimulatory fillers for improvement in dimpling and skin quality, and skin tightening devices for accompanying skin laxity. 4,7,8 However, the high cost of these treatments is a barrier to entry for most patients, and multiple treatment visits are needed. The results can still be subtle after this combination approach.…”
