Abstract:La afección de la vesícula biliar es bastante común en México, y en algunos casos se presentan cálculos biliares en el conducto biliar, siendo la variante conocida como "coledocolitiasis gigante" que está descrita como cálculos biliares con un tamaño superior a 15 mm de diámetro, la aplicación de una esfinterotomía endoscópica podría no ser completamente eficaz.
