COLECCIÓN Y EVALUACIÓN DE GERMOPLASMA DE (Mauritia flexuosa L. F) AGUAJE EN LA AMAZONÍA PERUANA

Abstract: El Instituto de Investigaciones de la Amazonía Peruana (IIAP) ha iniciado un programa de mejoramiento genéticode Mauritia flexuosa L. f. aguaje, mediante colecciones de germoplasma, en el departamento de Loreto, entre los años 1999 y 2001. Se colectaron 30 entradas en poblaciones naturales, chacras de agricultores, y huertos familiares, en los distritos de Sapuena y Jenaro Herrera (Requena), Parinari (Loreto), Lagunas (Alto Amazonas), Santa María, San Juan, Punchana, Indiana e Iquitos (Maynas).
