Cold Welding of the Synthes Femoral Neck System Encountered at Conversion to Arthroplasty

Abstract: Case: The Synthes Femoral Neck System (FNS) is a relatively new device available to the market in 2019 designed to reduce complication and revision rates after femoral neck fracture stabilization. We present a 77-year-old man with Parkinson disease and avascular necrosis after femoral neck fracture initially managed with the FNS.
