Parapsoriasis encompasses a rare group of skin conditions characterised by erythematous, scaly, and occasionally pruritic lesions and are known to have malignant associations. Despite its historical presence in medical literature, parapsoriasis classification, aetiology, and management remain subjects of ongoing investigation. Recent disease classification now includes the Small plaque parapsoriasis (SPP) and the Large plaque parapsoriasis (LPP). Notably, these conditions have been associated with a potential for malignant involvement especially the large plaque type, hence the need for early diagnosis, treatment and keen follow up / disease surveillance.
