Decision making process is a though process not only for the management decisions but also for daily decisions. Multicriteria decision making methods were developed to make this process easier. There are many multicriteria decision making methods used in many areas at the present. In this study two of these methods were used, namely ARAS (Additive Ratio Assessment) and COPRAS (Complex Proportional Assessment), for fundamental analysis in investment decisions. Aim of this study is to implement and compare methods on fundamental analysis of firms to make an investment decision. In the study financial ratios of 20 firms from 5 different sectors and 4 different countries, sectoral data and country indicators were used. According to these data, ARAS and COPRAS methods were implemented and although exactly same results were not found, approximately similar results were obtained. The best and the worst companies were same for both methods, even though other rankings differed slightly. Also, same sector selected as best for both methods to invest in.

Today, industrial activities are undoubtedly one of the most important parameters when it comes to the development of countries. In all areas of the industry, a large part of the mechanical work is carried out by electric motors. Because it is so widely used, there is a large market, a large customer base, and therefore a large number of electric motor manufacturers. Due to the high number of producers, customers should make a purchase decision when choosing an electric motor. In this study, a systematic approach to selection of asynchronous electric motor was tried to be made by using multi criteria decision making techniques. In this frame, the data were collected for one of the most commonly used asynchronous motor in the industry. This motor was selected randomly as 90 kW, 1500 rpm, B3 body type electric motor. The data are collected from three different companies' electric motors, which constitute a certain weight in the sector. The criteria for these different asynchronous motors were solved by TOPSIS, MOORA, VIKOR methods. With basic descriptions about these methods, the results of methods on asynchronous motor selection were compared. The opinions of the decision makers currently working in the sector together with the motor data were taken and the criterial weights were realized in this direction. As a result of comparison, TOPSIS and MOORA methods indicated that M3 electric motor is the best choice. The VIKOR method, in combination with the M3, also determined the M2 engine as the best choice. This is the result of VIKOR's involvement of the decision maker's intuitive weights in the process. TOPSIS and MOORA methods have yielded reliable results such as similar studies.

One of the serious problems in the logistics sector is the failure to make mistakes that cause economic consequences in the bulk purchases of trucks which are the important elements of road transport. Logistics Businesses can make in place and right decisions by using multi-criteria decision-making methods in the face of similar decision problems. In this study; Logistics, transportation, criteria for purchasing of vehicles and information about the decision analysis methods ARAS (Additive Ratio Assesment) and AHP (Analytic hierarchy Proses) were given. In particular, the applicability and results of the scientific methods are emphasized in the decision of procurement of bulk vehicles by logistics companies. The study's logistic decision problem was analyzed using ARAS and AHP methods together. It can be used in different decision problems of other logistics companies by making a partial change in the alternatives and criteria of the created solution model. The model for the study was applied to the decision problem of purchasing bulk vehicles in a Georgia-based logistics company. Managers of the business as decision makers have been accepted. Criteria and alternatives have been identified by the managers, independently of each other by scoring these elements. As a result of analysis of related decision problem by AHP-ARAS hybrid method; A1 (Volvo) has become the preferred brand for bulk vehicle purchasing by the company in the first place. In addition, the analysis results are shared with the business. AHP-ARAS Hibrit Yöntemi ile Lojistik İşletmelerinin En Uygun Araç Seçimi ÖZLojistik sektörü içinde ciddi problemlerinden biri de karayolu taşımacılığının önemli unsurlarından kamyon ve tırların toplu alımlarında ekonomik sonuçlar doğuran hataların yapılmamasıdır. Lojistik İşletmeleri bu gibi karar problemleri karşısında çok kriterli karar verme yöntemleri kullanarak yerinde ve doğru karar verebilirler. Çalışmada; lojistik, taşımacılık, toplu araç alımındaki kriterler ve karar analizi metotlarından AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Proses) ve ARAS (Additive Ratio Assesment) yöntemleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Özellikle lojistik işletmelerin toplu araç alımı kararlarında bilimsel yöntemlerin uygulanabilirliği ve sonuçları üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışmanın lojistik karar problemi ARAS ve AHP yöntemleri birlikte kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Oluşturulan çözüm modelinin alternatif ve kriterlerinde kısmi değişiklik yapılarak diğer lojistik işletmelerinin farklı karar problemlerinde kullanabilir. Çalışma da oluşturulan model Gürcistan merkezli bir lojistik işletmesinin toplu araç alımında karşılaştığı karar probleminde uygulanmıştır. Karar verici olarak işletmenin yöneticileri kabul edilmiştir. Kriterler ve alternatifler yöneticilerin birbirinden bağımsız olarak bu unsurları puanlamaları ile tespit edilmiştir.
