Abstract:Abstract. In order to elucidate whether Ta2NiSe5 is in an excitonic condensation state or not, we study macroscopic quantum interferences in ultrasonic attenuation rate and nuclear magnetic resonance relaxation rate. Using the three-chain model describing the excitonic condensation of Ta2NiSe5, we demonstrate analytically that the ultrasonic attenuation rate shows a characteristic peak just below the transition temperature of the excitonic condensation, while the nuclear magnetic resonance relaxation rate show… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
