“…Most studies of cognitive dysfunction after cardiac arrest have focused on hypoxic/ischemic mechanism, while the contribution of cardiovascular disease to cognitive dysfunction has been relatively overlooked in OHCA survivors (Cronberg and Lilja, 2015).
