Coexisting Heart Failure and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease: Report of Two Cases Treated with Indacaterol/Glycopyrronium

Abstract: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, and it is associated with a high economic burden. Heart failure shares some general symptoms with COPD; thus, diagnosing COPD is difficult in subjects with a history of heart failure, and spi­rometry is mandatory for confirmation.
