Abstract: The cochlear form of otosclerosis is characterized by irreversible metabolic changes that lead to complete hearing loss. Cochlear implantation, which is a high-tech method of rehabilitation for patients with profound hearing loss and complete deafness, becomes an opportunity for hearing restoration.
