Cobaloxime Complex‐Mediated Organic Chemistry

Abstract

Cobaloxime complexes are now used to mediate a host of organic reactions. This chapter attempts to cover advances in this field which have occurred between 2000 and 2020. Topics range from the synthesis of new cobaloxime complexes which have been prepared for use in organic reactions to cobaloxime complex‐mediated or ‐assisted organic reactions. Reaction coverage includes, but is not limited to, cycloaddition and cyclization reactions, cross‐coupling reactions, carbonate synthesis and cobaloxime‐mediated oxidations and reductions including radical chemistry, and hydrogen production or removal using cobaloximes.
