In embedded systems, ARM processors are the market leaders, offering highperformance computation, low power consumption, and low cost. As a result, there is a lot of excitement about its potential in the aerospace business. The Xilinx Zynq-7000 FPGA features dualcore ARM Cortex-A9 hard-core processors. are protected from soft failures thanks to a lockstep technique described in this study. The lockstep is an error detection and righting system that is based on both hardware and software. At the software level, it uses checkpoints and rollback methods. On the hardware level, checker circuits and processor replication are also included. The proposed method demonstrates how to execute the plan successfully in two core processors to improve system stability in radiation environments. The results reveal a link between the size of the application and the checkpoint and rollback strategies in terms of usability overhead. as well as a dependence on the number of checkpoints.

Monitoring the sea level is crucial for the protection of coastal communities and infrastructure. Instruments that can record and transmit the sea level in real time are essential for preventing potential disasters. This study presents the design, construction, and evaluation of an instrument for measuring sea level using a pressure sensor, a microcontroller, and a GSM module. The sea level analyzed using T Tide analysis. The instrument's accuracy was established through a calibration process, resulting in a sensor reading accuracy of 96.76% and a low root mean square error of 3.24 cm. The linear regression model confirmed the strong correlation between sensor readings and actual water depth, with a coefficient of determination of 0.999. The instrument achieved an accuracy of 96.76% and a low root mean square error of 3.24 cm. Field testing over three days showed the instrument's reliability in measuring sea levels, with an accuracy rate of 91.93% and an root mean square error of 8.07 cm with a packet loss of 7.86%. The study area had mixed semidiurnal characteristics, with water levels ranging from 60.1 cm to 209.55 cm. Significant constituents such as principal lunar diurnal constituent (K1) and Principal lunar semidiurnal (M2) dominate the tidal patterns, each with distinct frequencies, amplitudes, and signal-to-noise ratios. This research provides a precise and cost-effective instrument for measuring water depth, which is suitable for coastal management, environmental monitoring, and scientific investigation.

In this paper, the results of the characterization of a Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) Accelerometer for detecting vibrations underwater are reported. The FBG Accelerometer, consisting of three FBGs, is utilized to detect underwater vibrations in three-dimensional directions. A water pump, with positions varied from 0 to 10 cm, is employed as the vibration source. Furthermore, the experimental results are presented in the form of the peak wavelength shift reflected by the FBG (ΔλB) and frequency. From the experiment results, it is shown that with increasing distance, ΔλB decreases linearly with successive gradients of 0.0058 nm/cm; 0.0059 nm/cm; and 0.0045 nm/cm. for FBG X, Y, and Z. It is also shown that with increasing distance, there is a decrease in frequency from 50 Hz for FBGs X, Y, and Z to 39 Hz; 38 Hz; and 40 Hz for FBGs X, Y, and Z respectively.
