“…As shown in Figure 6, the absolute excess enthalpy of TBACl-LA 1:2+CO 2 is higher than that for TMACl-LA 1:2+CO 2 , indicating that TBACl-LA 1:2 has a higher capacity for CO 2 capture. The comparison of ChCl-DEG 1:3+CO 2 and ChCl-TEG 1:3+CO 2 shows that ChCl-TEG 1:3+CO 2 has a high absolute excess enthalpy compared to ChCl-DEG 1:3+CO 2 system, being in agreement with the experimental results obtained by Sarmad et al (2017b) and Ghaedi et al (2017), i.e., increasing the alkyl chain length in HBA and HBD results in an increased CO 2 solubility. Moreover, by increasing the molar ratio of HBD in DES, the absolute excess enthalpy of ChCl-FA 1:5+CO 2 is increased compared to ChCl-FA 1:3+CO 2 system, which agrees with the experimental results (Lu et al, 2015).…”

“…To build a property model for ATPPB-DEG (the mixture of allyl triphenylphosphonium bromide and diethylene glycol), the density, viscosity and CO 2 solubility of ATPPB-DEG were used to regress property parameters. The experimental data was taken from the work by Ghaedi et al (2017a), Ghaedi et al (2017b), Ghaedi et al (2017c). From the sensitivity analysis results, it was concluded that the liquid surface tension, thermal conductivity, heat capacity and vapor pressure do not influence the CO 2 recovery and therefor these properties have been assumed to be the same as for deca-men.…”

“…Currently, chemical absorption is commonly practiced post combustion CO2 capture technology for CCS. It is mature and well established technique for commercial application [4][5][6]. Aqueous alkanolamines are commonly utilized chemical solvents in absorption process [7].…”
