Co-regulated Intestinal c-kit by Interleukin-17 and Interleukin-10 on Post-infectious Irritable Bowel Syndrome in Mice

Abstract: PurposeThe aim of this study was to investigate the probable immune mechanisms of PI-IBS. MethodsC57L/B6 mice, which have been infected by 500 Trichinella larvae for 56 days, were used to PI-IBS model mice, the levels of the intestinal mRNAs and proteins of c-kit, interleukin-10 (IL-10), and IL-17 were measured by RT-PCR and western blotting or ELISA.
