“…One of the direct reasons for the higher g a from co-fermentation was its high-efficient hydrolysis that provided more available nutrients for the acidogenic bacteria. Meanwhile the organic acids generated from acidogenic stage could loosen the structure of lignocelluloses and increase the accessibility of extracellular enzymes (Saritpongteeraka et al, 2014), which in turn conduced to further hydrolysis of stubborn organics.
