Abstract: Bimetallic tubes are used when a component requires more than one performance requirement, for instance, strength/creep resistance and oxidation/corrosion resistance. Shear-assisted processing and extrusion (ShAPE) can be used to fabricate extrudates that are comparable or superior in performance relative to conventionally manufactured extrudates.
