Abstract:Green tea is a popular beverage worldwide. The abundant green tea catechin (−)‐epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is a potent in vitro inhibitor of intestinal UDP‐glucuronosyltransferase (UGT) activity (Ki ~2 μM).
