CNS therapeutics: Immune cells break the barriers

Abstract: Peripheral immune cells can be seen as attractive vectors and drug carriers for central nervous system therapeutics because these cells have unique properties that allow them to migrate across the blood-brain barrier, enabling drug delivery to brain regions that are inaccessible to free drugs.
