Cnidaria (Coelenterates)

Abstract: The study of cnidarians has contributed to concepts of biodiversity, evolution and development. Aquatic, mostly marine metazoans, cnidarians are distinguished from members of other phyla by the presence of cnidocytes typically on tentacles.
