In this document we report our research on detection algorithms utilized with commercially available Impulse radars in Ultra Wide Band (UWB). The main target of this project is t h e r e s e a r c h o f d e t e c t i o n al go r it hm s fo r h u m a n s a n d o t he r objects near moving machinery to prevent collision. The project includes theoretical and experimental parts and targets to a further project where researched technologies and algorithms are implemented in an embedded environment to be used in real machinery.
