Abstract:In the impulsive phase of these flares with a duration of less than ~5 min (from the onset of μ-emission at 15.4 GHz to the maximum of soft X-ray (SXR) radiation), bursts of hard X-ray (HXR) and μ-radiation with a large amplitude and duration of less than ~1 min were observed. At the time of these bursts, effective heating and evaporation of the chromospheric plasma appeared, which was expressed in a short (less than ~2 min) time delay of the maximum of the emission measure relative to the maximum of the tempe… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
