Clutter cancellation in passive radar using GSM broadcast channels

Abstract: This study focuses on passive coherent location using global system for mobile communications base stations transmitting mainly dummy bursts in idle mode. The authors present adaptive delay line canceller techniques to suppress the zero-Doppler direct path and its clutter almost down to the receiver noise level.
